We strategically chose to partner with one of Europe’s fastest growing Financial Technology (FinTech) companies, Ebury Partners UK Ltd. They are one of the best funded FinTech companies in Europe and transacted over £11.2 billion last year with over 35,000 clients. Our decision to partner with Ebury was due to their deep levels of liquidity, seamless operational capabilities and strict security measures, which all ensure a quick, secure and efficient service.
Ebury Partners UK Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Electronic Money Institution (Ref. Number: 900797, click here for further information). As such, client funds are always held in segregated accounts, entirely separate from their own operating accounts, meaning client funds are completely ring-fenced, secure and can never be claimed by any creditors. This means that, in the unlikely event of Ebury’s insolvency, your funds will be fully protected and an administrator will reimburse you from the safeguarded funds.
The FCA requires standards to be met across three areas and Ebury exceeds all three of these standards which are as follows:
Capital Adequacy – The levels of capital requirements are based on Ebury’s level of activity. The FCA regularly reviews their capital adequacy.
Client Protection – Client funds are held in segregated accounts, entirely separate from Ebury’s own operating accounts, so client funds are always safe.
Robust Internal Risk Management – There is strict governance and operational processes in place to scrutinise the accuracy of each of the transactions, with appropriate involvement from the Directors. Compliance with governance and processes is regularly audited.
